Details: This
collar boning dates to the turn of the
previous Century and is old stock, having
never been used. Found in the an old mercantile store, the Wheeler Brothers
General Store, started in 1845, and when Silas Wheeler closed the store in 1968,
everything from grains to tools, to sewing implements and silk stockings were
left on their original shelves, undisturbed and untouched.
There are 6 bones on the card, each made stiff and covered in grosgrain in white
grosgrain . Each measures 2 1/2 inches.
Excellent for the repair or reproduction of antique attire of the era. Several
are available, while supplies last.
