Details: This wonderful hat dates to the Victorian turn of the century and is made of a stiffened wired base. When worn, this hat looks like a cake set atop the head. The hat measures 11 x 13 inches and has velvet ties which are attached at each side. The hat is completely covered with black moiré with black voile ruffles completely throughout. I personally would add some dramatic trims, making this more eye popping than one could ever imagine. Being made of such delicate fabric, it is surprising that this hat is in 100% strong and mint condition.
