Details:

This gown dates to the 1930's and is fashioned of plush black silk velvet with heavily ruched sleeves atop the outer arm with the ruching encrusted with four rows of rhinestones.  The piece hooks and snaps closed at the side, one snap is in need of re-attachment.  A label in its bottom found after picturing reads MISS WILSON Boston and is a very large label of silk satin.  The rear is heavily weighted with lead weights to give the piece the proper flow.  Measures a full 42 inches around the bust, 32 inches around the waist, 61 inches in length, and a bottom sweep traveling 88 inches around.
