Details:

This gown dates to the 1920’s and is in a larger size, not as often found.  The gown is fashioned of plush pile black silk velvet with rich Art Deco dart cuts taken to the middle of both the front and rear and each side with the side hiding the snap enclosure.  It is hard to see in the photos but there is a fine pleating taken atop the shoulders.  

Aside from two pinhead holes in the bust, the condition is pristine.  Measures 46 inches around the bust, 44 inches around the waist, and 50 inches around the hips, 52 inches in its length, and a bottom sweep measuring 116 inches around.
