Details: It is so hard to come by these children’s bodices that are actually suited for a child and not just on the small side.  This bodice is made of black gabardine with black silk velvet entered around the neckline with a rear collar with side lapels falling from beneath trimmed in ornate braid and soutache.  The braiding falls down its front and is around each cuff and large knit fabric covered buttons trim its front, the two bottom which are absent.  One sleeve has some small staining which appears to be surface and several fingertip sized holes are seen with one underarm having a two inch small line of absent fabric hole nips.  The condition is otherwise excellent and it is a true must have.  Measures 26/20, 10 inches across the shoulders, and 14 inches in its length.
