Details: Dating to the 1950’s, this gown is one piece in its construction. The fabric is a rich shining deep champagne satin with a black floral lace print taken throughout.

 Black silk velvet piping is around the edging of the top with matching covered buttons running down its front. A wide ribbon of black silk velvet with angle cut ends ties around the waistline. A steel zipper runs up the side, it is just in need of a new pull tab.

 Several inner age spots are all unseen as they are in the interior only and do nothing to detract.  The gusset seam under each under arm has seen a pinhead fray at each corner, could be stitched back if desired but does not show so I would not even bother. The label pictured is in the interior neckline.  

Measures 34/28, 49 inches in length and a narrow horse hair trimmed bottom sweep measuring 138 inches around.
